Did you know that most editing software programs enable you to convert a design from one format to another! This means, if you have a design named Flower.pes but need the design in JEF, you can use software to convert the design. Do keep in mind hoop size limitations and consult your embroidery software manual for available formats.

Did you know you can save yourself hours of rework and headaches by printing paper or vellum templates? Simply use editing software to print a template of the embroidery design you are working with. Print multiple templates if you want to experiment with layout. Need a mirror image template of the design? Just flip it over (if using vellum) to view the mirror design.

Did you know that two layers of lightweight stabilizer provide the stability of a heavyweight without the added weight? Two layers of lightweight tear-away are easier to remove and may cause less distortion than one sheet of heavy tear-away during removal. And two pieces of lightweight polymesh will provide adequate support to most fabrics but will not change the drape of the fabric. Think two when one seems like overkill!
