Frequently Asked Questions - Perfect Placement Kit

Q:  I have a Janome 9000, and the center of the design is not the starting place for stitching.  How can I use your perfect placement kit?

A:  The starting point for the Janome 9000, 5000, 5700 and the Elna machines is not in the center of an embroidery design, therefore making all generically produced templates useless. But no more – use these easy step-by-step directions along with a specially-created template for perfect placement.

Print the .SEW Format Template below on a transparency or tracing paper.

Follow the directions in the Perfect Placement Kit for placing the PPK template on the item.  The sample shows the Hand Towel with Border Template.

Slide the .SEW Format Template under the Hand Towel with Border Template aligning the PPK crosshair with the slashed crosshair as illustrated.

Now, slide a target sticker under the .SEW Format crosshair.

Hoop the item, using the target sticker as the starting point for the monogram.

Note – you may use this template with other printed templates as well.
