Special Note
for Janome MB4 Users
Quick-Snap –
Depending on the size of your design, you may need to
override the hoop designation when you are ready to sew using the Quick-Snap
Hoops. If the machine is defaulting to the small (or medium) hoop, and you
cannot relocate your design to the proper place on the Quick-Snap frame, then
you must override the default hoop with a larger hoop.
To override the hoop designation on the MB4, complete the
following steps:
- With the design up on the screen, select the MENU
option on the LCD screen.
- Then select the grid to open the editing window.
- Then select the hoop selection option.
- Override the M3 hoop with a larger hoop, such as M1.
- Then relocate your design to the appropriate area
where you want to stitch it. ALWAYS trace the design to make sure it clears
the hoop and is in the proper location for stitching.
Magna-Hoop Software –
There is the update for the Janome MB4 hoops in Magna-Hoop
Software. Enter the link online and follow the prompts to load the 5 updated
files into your software.
http://www.dzgns.com/quick-snap/QuickSnapLCM-2008-0409.exe
This will add 5 new templates to your software; 3 for the
largest hoop and 2 for the next largest. When you select the opening in
software, you will see all of the options. Then select the ones with MB4 in the
name and it will give you the appropriate size. You only need to do this update
if you are using Magna-Hoop Software. |
